Favorite Summer Video:
This video captures glimpses of Andrew Keenan-Bolger’s summer, but it looks like what everyone wants in a summer experience!
Favorite Twitter Moment:

Garett Hawe favorited my tweet. He’s one of my favorite Newsies, and the “Meet the Newsies – Albert” video is super inspiring. I’ll be watching it all summer.
I was so surprised when Garett favorited this tweet! He is awesome and very inspiring!

Favorite Fourth of July Treats:
Favorite Fruit (double entendre for a few people):

There are only four people who will get the double meaning of this…
Favorite Moment:
I don’t really have any photos of this or anything, but on Monday (as many of you know) Brendon Stimson made his Jack Kelly debut, and I went to go see it for many reasons, including the fact that I met his mom in Times Square and she talked about how she hoped Brendon would get to go on one day. Well, he did, and he was phenomenal, as I’ve said before. But my favorite moment was when he came out of the stage door that night, and when he saw me he said “Hey Steph, how’s it going?” which pretty much sealed the deal on that performance being the most memorable one.
Favorite Smile:
Isaac’s Live Lip-Dub Proposal is adorable. It brings happy tears to my eyes.
Favorite YouTube Video:
This video is just plain amazing, but Ben Fankhauser and Andrew Keenan-Bolger might be my favorites in it. I think Ben is actually singing about Andrew

Five Fabulous Friday Favorites! (TONY EDITION) June 15, 2012
Here’s a list of some favorite things that happened during the Tony‘s last Sunday. Theses have kept me laughing, crying, smiling, and remembering all week!
Favorite Awkward Moment:

James Earl Jones heard “James” announced as the winner and thought they meant him…until they said the last name.
Favorite Moment:
The Newsies cheer on Christopher Gattelli’s victory! Newsies gets the Tony for Best Choreography. (Thanks to the Book of Mormon crew for filming it!)
Favorite Performance:
Because this performance was so early in the show, my tears started early. I love Newsies so much!
Favorite Speech, more serious:
Steve Kazee made me cry. It was seriously the only time (when Newsies wasn’t on stage/mentioned) that I cried.
Favorite Speech, more comic:
Nina Arianda is one of those people I wish I actually knew. “You were my first crushHope you enjoyed! Share your Friday Favorites in the comments below!!! Thanks all!

Here’s a list of some favorite things from the past week!
Favorite Book I Read This Week:
I loved this book. I loved it. It has a very good Sherlock Holmes feel. I love dry British-inspired Mysteries, so this is perfect. I loved this book so much I went on a search to several bookstores in Lower Manhattan for the prequel (The Baker Street Letters), and I FINALLY found one copy at the Barnes & Nobel on 17th St. It was the last copy. And I sprinted with it to the check out so I could start reading it. I’ve only got a couple of pages left now. These books are THAT good.
Favorite Food:
I “made” these for dinner on Wednesday. Really, I found the recipe, ordered the ingredients, and pulled them all out, and Alyse actually mixed it all together and formed the patties, and then I put them in the oven to bake instead of fry. They are so good. I want more. Literally. I had a leftover one for lunch yesterday. and I’m having another one today. They are delicious. I doubled the recipe for 8 people, and definitely made too much, but it is sooo good!
Favorite Moment:
I didn’t even know this had happened until a couple of days later. But it was such a pleasant surprise! I was so excited, and so grateful, that an Oldsie was impressed! I mean, these guys impress me everyday. Literally. And Mark Aldrich is fantastic. I absolutely adore him. I don’t like Seitz (his character in Newsies), but that just means he’s doing a great job playing the villain.
Favorite Shoe:

Elizabeth Banks wearing Alexander McQueen Shoe at the Los Angeles Premiere of “What to Expect When You’re Expecting”
These shoes are ridiculously fabulous. I love the color, I love the design. They are just amazing!
Favorite YouTube Video:
I found this video because of a tweet by Jeremy Jordan (Jack Kelly in Newsies the Musical, and Clyde Barrow in Bonnie and Clyde). These two girls are ridiculously talented. Lennon is 12, and Maisy is 8.

Oh, Batman’s not an animal? He is a “bat,” but if you insist on a different animal, this guy is pretty cute too:

Five Fabulous Friday Favorites!!! May 10, 2012
Here’s a list of some favorite things from the past week!
Favorite Batman:
He is the best Batman. I think he is the one that really transformed Batman from a “campy” superhero to the bad-ass that he is today. Without this Batman, Christian Bale would not have grown up to be Batman. It just wouldn’t have happened. I think it helped that this was airing the same year that Newsies came out.
Favorite Fashion Sighting:
I love this little outfit that charmiecm put together. It’s super cute and simple and I have a thing for vintage-inspired fashion!
Favorite Math Moment:

Love this…have to work up the nerve to use it with my students. They will appreciate (AND REMEMBER) it!
For anyone who remembers the order of operations in math by “Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally,” I give you the new and improved “Please Excuse My Dope Ass Swag.”
Favorite Quote:

Listen to your heart…
Always be willing to give it a try. It just might work out. If you never try, you’ll never know.
Favorite Smirk:

It’s hard to read this and not have Stacy’s Mom stuck in your head…
